any sug on poly urith body kits ?

Im tired of this Fiber Glass crap.. Ive done it in the past .. and paint just doesnt sit on it as well as it does on polyurethane.. Does anyone know of any sick kits for the Z that are polyurethane?

Hardly anybody uses polyurethane anymore. Perhaps stillen. Most kits are FRP.

I had a fiberglass kit on my 350 and it wasn't to bad. But the paint never was dead on. But you could easily fix it if damaged. But I won't own another either.

I think the mould to prepare in poly is very very expensive maybe thats the reason no one does it

exactly. poly is more expensize. Stillen uses poly but..fitment issues around the headlight area. I heard it was fixed. I had the same issues with mine.

Stillen is the only one I know of who makes the poly. They did fix the issue around the head lights and when I was looking into getting it i spoke to josh about it and he sent me a few videos of them pulling a brand new one off the shelf and hooking it right up to a car. So I think if there was fitment issues they are gone now. Big thing with poly though is it has to be primed. Can not do the cheap adhesion promoter on it. Honestly anything I ever get painted it will be primed. Even if it is fiberglass because that adhesion promoter is the cheap way out and I think thats probably why the paint didn't stick

See this is what im worried about. Ive had Fiber glass on my del sol.. matter of fact .. its still there.. buttt the issue im getitng on it is that the paint chips off of it soo easilyyy... the only parts its cracked on the body is where ive personally have had to fabricate my self .. and the issues there were for 1. i cant compress the fiberglass as they do in molds and 2. there were pressure points where absorbs the shocks as i was driving and caused a whole lot of cracks in bumper.. I just dont want to spend over a Grand on material thats gonna end up costing me more ... here is the honda what i did ..http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t...83562_4441.jpg[/IMG]
