Are these the whole fender or cutouts?

RCZ 01-31-2011 03:19 PM

fyi...if you leave the fender well covers in there, the vent has absolutely 0 aerodynamic effect...it will only alleviate pressure if its directly open to the tire.

NewYorkJon34 01-31-2011 03:27 PM

Ya, im gonna have my installer cut a slit in the fender well to allow air to pass through

RCZ 01-31-2011 04:05 PM

What's a slit gonna do?

simota1 01-31-2011 04:08 PM

Slit/vent, cut a section of the inner fender wall to let air pass through, sound better?

whoLEEoh 01-31-2011 05:57 PM

1 spot left

christian370z 01-31-2011 06:37 PM

That is sick, I would love to see it on a stock bodied Z though.

NewYorkJon34 01-31-2011 06:42 PM

My exterior is stock, so you'll see it soon enough. CarbonSignal, when can I leave my deposit?

It would sound better except a slit won't do anything because its not enough to evacuate the pressure...you'd need to tear off half your fender well...and even if you did that, you'd never know the difference because you don't track the car...but you knew that ;)

#5 right here pending pricing and CF options.

NewYorkJon34 01-31-2011 07:15 PM

Ya, I don't track the car, but at least it would be functional.

IDK I am just as lost as you. Can't see it doing anything since it is a little slit

Just because I didn't say the 100% exact thing, doesn't mean you guys didn't know what I ment. People need to chill, and just continue being helpful. RCZ already told me what I would have to do, so let's just leave it at that.

thanks,

Hi, its ok if you missed it. These will not come pre-painted.

TripleBlkZ 01-31-2011 08:25 PM

Ha didn't think so but never hurts to ask lol. Also how is the alinement on a roadster? I can't see it being a differance on fenders but would like to know in advance...

NewYorkJon34 01-31-2011 08:33 PM

I don't believe there is any difference on the roadster's front fenders.

TripleBlkZ 01-31-2011 09:01 PM

+1 rep NewYorkJon34

docaam 01-31-2011 09:04 PM

If the fenders on roadster is same then these should be spot on, coming to fitment its a stock fender so its a simple bolt on replacement, for painted you can always ask them.

Rest of the questions CS might answer but its a bit early here at the moment :)

toner123 01-31-2011 09:06 PM

about 8 am right if i did my math right lol.

docaam 01-31-2011 09:12 PM

^ya, I hope he sees the list of 5. Carbonsignal, PM me later the special price so I can give you my deposit.

TripleBlkZ 01-31-2011 09:28 PM

Thanks guys for the replies, the painted part was more me curious then a concern. Think I will cal Nissan here in town tomorrow just to confirm that there isn't a differance.
Wife likes them also so it looks like I maybe ordering shortly also, looking forward to some pricing.
