So how will the production work? You make them one at a time or multiple sets simultaneously? Production order based on the order on list?

:ugh2:

ops how did i miss that !!..

well. once the list is finalized and we have min of 5 sets to the US then the production will start.

we work on each order separately. but all will be shipped at once as we said before so that we can reduce the shipping cost.

thanks
Naj

Do you mean production will begin when 5 sets are confirmed for US and CAN?

Hey Naj, I've decided to wait till the end of the month to pull any triggers. Do you have pricing on these once the "special orders" are done? & If I order by the end of the month, how soon can I expect to receive the parts? Thanks for all your time dude. I know it's hard dealing with customers that are 50/50 regarding decision making but I just don't want to rush into things & then regret them in the end you know? I want to be 101% sure I want what I order. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that I'll regret having your fender's cuz they are hott. I'm just saying in general. :D

Bump for updates.

A.J@CarbonSignal 02-18-2011 02:15 PM

So we've recieved the first 3 pairs of OEM fenders from Nissan. The rest should be coming soon. We'll be working on the sets that we recieved by next week. I would estimate 4-6 days to finish each pair. Once all sets are ready we'll be test fitting them on a 370z so that we make sure the fitment is spot on (well its OEM fenders so no worries at all)

Heres some pics of the fenders we recieved...

We've already recieved the first 3 pairs of fenders and we'll be working on them right away so we dont waste any time while the rest of the fenders are back in Nissan's stock.

Pricing post this special is yet to be confirmed but surely it wont be as close to this introductory special. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

How difficult is it to remove and install the fenders? Requires front bumper removal?side skirts removal?

KaienZ34 02-20-2011 12:39 AM

Just the front bumper i think.

What I saw on my car involved removal of both sides and front bumper

http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...999/photo1.jpg

in the pic support on the left side goes under the headlights so front bumper needs removal and on the right under side the pieces goes behind the skirt. I am not sure if that can be removed without sides removed or not, but I guess better to remove it.

I think as a DIY I will rate removing bumper is more difficult then sides for the first time. I have removed mine few times but first time took around 30 mins or so, after that its easy :) side skirts are peanuts in front of bumper

thats true, but you also need to remove the headlights as there is a clip behind them..
