V1? Does that mean you are working in V2.

Can you lay down CF on the vented panel area?

We use Dopunt/Standox paint, plus we will paint with color codes, so i dont think color matching would be an issue

How do you know you'll get the "pearl" right on the pearl white cars. I had to have my front bumper re-painted by Nissan cus it was off colored.

We do paint jobs everyday, for newer cars we just take the colour according to the code, but at times for darker shades and older cars we take the fuel cover to get the colour matched. So if you have some doubts you can always send us your fuel cap for the match. or we can send you the one which is prepared for paint :tiphat:

Then paint is just an option we are offering not a condition :)

Why did u choose to end the vent cutout before it reaches the bottom of the fender?

I think it would be structural issue if it ran all the way down to the bottom. Don't forget that this is essentially a modified stock fender.

Can't wait to see how some of these look!

Sibze 02-01-2011 12:58 PM

Question, how long before you'll be sending them out? I.E. How long before we can see this is some other colours?

If these just go into the factory fenders anyway, is there any chance of sending your OEM fenders back in for a core charge perhaps? Or maybe just selling the vent piece separately as an option for those that have the means to do their own body work?

The deal with the pearl white being off colored has to do with the metallic flake. Too much and it gets darker almost vanilla looking and too light and it looks super white with very little luster. Trust me I had the Z painted several times already!

3SeventyZ 02-01-2011 04:38 PM

i gotta have a cf version!

370Z JT 02-01-2011 05:34 PM

Man I hope shipping from Dubai won't be a deal breaker.

How much for CF accents at the vented panels?

NewYorkJon34 02-01-2011 05:58 PM

I rather have the OEM version, it's not gonna be light enough to make a difference, esp. after they are painted.
