Hawaii Lemon Law says
Quote:

by repairing or correcting any defect or condition which substantially impairs the use, market value, or safety of the motor vehicle after a reasonable number of documented attempts
so TPMS could reasonably fall under this law (why do we have it if it isn't needed for safety?). Your car definitely doesn't have to stop running to be a lemon.

A reasonable number is 3 attempts. OTOH, your recourse under lemon law is a replacement or a refund minus a "reasonable offset" for your use amounting to 1% per thousand miles, so it may be just too much hassle for a TPMS issue.

I would suggest trying to get your warranty extended and realize this will be a small issue if you keep the car a reasonable time.

just make damn sure these fools are not joy riding your car while youre away, and make sure they dont add any scratches or other damage while its in their posession. you are getting screwed the entire intial enjoyment of having a brand new car... and if that car doesnt stay brand new until it gets into your hands and stays into your hands for a long time... then wtf was the point of buying new. so enforce that they are treating the car right.

and for ***** sake, who goes and drills holes in a brand new car to mount a wing and doesnt take the time to measure and do it correctly? and then what, they dremel the holes out larger to move the wing around?? hack jobs.

Is this another " something went wrong for me in my life, and I'm going to sue someone's *** off? ".

We're all people, we make mistakes. Your leg didn't get shot off in the process and you didin't contract aids from the tech so considering your minor inconvinience of having to go back and forth a couple times to the dealership to get things perfect a small and insignificant part of your life. Don't get your blood pressure up over this. Sh!t happens. Atleast you got an apology, a new spoiler on the way, and a dealership trying to make things accomodating to you for this minor inconvinience.

When I worked at a dealership many days not everything went right. Whether from Honda themselves not having all the mounting bolts in a lip kit, sending the wrong side inner fender liner and we even had a tech step on a break a roof railing. Its all minor and will be dealt with in a professional manor.

They replaced the sensors 3 visits ago:/ and hell yeah I should have bought your car!!!! I don't think it was for sale at the time when I was looking for a 370z and your right 38K could have got a Nismo :) my friends are heavy into cars and researching laws, they told me according to Hawaii State Law that if the vehicle has been brought in for service for 3 or more times within 90 days regardless of new or used it is considered a Lemon :(

PS the sensors were reset and replaced and reset again so that's why they are telling me now my compute may be at fault which at first they said my sensors may be at fault and replaced all of them hmmm after reading this I think I just came to the conclusion that it might be a Lemon not running mechanically bad just the BCM

dam! I'm about 90% sure I'm going to pick up a 370z this February. Which dealership did you go to?

my reccomendation is to go to King Windward they are much nicer and for some reason their vehicles are closely matched to mainland price:) anywho I am not upset at the issue of having to replace my cars BCM :) I get a new computer and since I just starting modding which I thought I wasn't go to but could not resist it works well! They are also helping me with a lower strut bolt I stripped trying to DIY on my coilovers damn damn, thanks for the help and opinions guys I am very happy with my Z, one thing that made me really happy was my first mod Stillen Gen 3 intakes:) I noticed a big difference and it sounds more aggressive :) took a couple days for the ECU to adapt but wow!!
