^ya that's what def needs to come out for our cars, an actually real rear diffuser. The one on the red s2000 looks real good.

kenchan 01-18-2011 02:10 PM

NewYorkJon34 01-18-2011 02:14 PM

Well you got any new info on the front splitter?

kenchan 01-18-2011 02:51 PM

I am currently in the market for a new front wind splitter and rear diffuser. I have the Nismo model and was wondering if yall would be making a nismo version?

I am interested, but our competition regulations in Australia call for the leading edge of the splitter to fall within the verical plan view of the OEM bumper, so the splitter needs to be constructed wthin this constraint. The sample photo does not make it clear how far forward the splitter protrudes ...

Dude you're killing me.. I know that fascia is on there.. with the canards.. and it's like you're dangling a donut in front of me.. WTF? I know you didn't have a camera out there.. but someone had to!

I keep seeing teaser pics and videos that show nothing.. I'm beginning to think I should put my hat back on.. uhh.. and find a cat I can do the same..

travisjb 01-20-2011 08:32 AM

it was made by kent porter of precision chassis works in mesa, az... it is a one-off... i'd be willing to let him borrow the part if he wants to try and replicate it... give him a call

NewYorkJon34 01-20-2011 01:58 PM

Can you take a picture of the rear, I wanna see how it will look. I don't know if it will fit with my fast intentions exhaust

travisjb 01-20-2011 02:19 PM

will this weekend - don't have car right now... definitely will not fit without modifications, can assure you of that...

NewYorkJon34 01-20-2011 02:47 PM

Thanks bro, your diffuser looks awesome, more companies should look at that diffuser and start designing from there.

You mean rice car standards since most of us only drive street. :icon17: for race app im sure its fine.

NYBladeZ 01-20-2011 06:02 PM

I always defined the "rice car standard" as "not functional." If the piece i.e. a large race wing is functional it wouldn't be rice. Then again I guess on the street the only way to really prove its not rice is to leave the dude, but I wouldn't condone that.

Btw, the pics have "expired" please provide new link because I'm definitely interested.

kenchan 01-20-2011 06:29 PM

Well, wat I meant as a joke was that at street speeds im not sure how functional it would be. For race im sure it is functional. That's all.

NYBladeZ 01-20-2011 07:20 PM

don't worry I took it lightly, its just that "ricer" has been thrown around for years, I'm sure many forgot what it means

NewYorkJon34 01-20-2011 07:44 PM

For those that forgot what a ricer is: http://i727.photobucket.com/albums/w...4/392be7e5.jpg

I guess by the silence they never got around to making a functional front splitter. Anyone know who makes a good functional front splitter, and I'm not talking about one of those fashionable lips.

I want a rear diffuser. BAD! REAL BAD!

corner3garage 10-12-2011 12:31 PM

Asthetic rear diffuser or functional? I believe you need a full undertray to utilize a rear diffuser!

SPOHN 10-12-2011 01:00 PM

Aesthetic is fine with me as long as it's sturdy.

Methodical4u 10-12-2011 01:15 PM

goooooooooood god... that has to be some of the most disgusting things i've ever seen... most of them look like cardboard cut outs that were spray painted.
