Question about the Z34 pedals.

I noticed today at work, while looking in one of the Z's in the showroom, that the gas pedal is one of those pedals that pivots on the bottom (where the pedal meets the floor/carpet). It was a Touring model and had the Aluminum-trimmed pedals. I haven't had a chance to look in a base model, but I was wondering if the regular gas pedal w/o the aluminum trim is also the kind that pivots on the bottom.

Damn. That sucks. Thanks though.

Aren't floor mounted pedals better?

Damn right they are. Less weight on your heel, more throttle control (for me anyway) and more contact with the pedal.

ok. I've only driven one car with that kind of pedal and it was for about 1/2 mile maybe. I didnt really like it but i
guess i was just too used to the other type of pedal. I'll take your word for it though. I'm sure once i get used to it i will like it better. thanx for the feedback guys.

Porsche has used this type pedal for years on the 911.

I find this type of pedal to be much better for fine touch control. It was a bit awkward at first, but after a few miles I got used to it.
