in the Z you never look backwards :) ...fairlady models have rear wipers. IMO kind of unless b/c rear window is so small. I usually turn on rear defogger and this helps alittle. Beside that learn to use side mirrors more, rather than rear view mirror.

hey jay, didnt you install a HU recently? dont you have rear view camera installed?

RainX your rear windshield and problem solved... I have 20% tint and I RainX the windshield and even on the darkest night I can see just fine...

rainx works great once your car is moving... but backing out of a parking lot at night with rain or fog on the glass is not going to be fun. rear view camera ftw.

Just go faster and the water should fall off

HA! Try looking out your backglass with the nismo wing! Half of the view you barely have is wiped out. I just gave up and rely on the backup camera and valet whenever possible. Like others said, RainX is your friend.

JayYoon 11-11-2010 10:53 PM

whats RainX?

Because you want some idiot valet backing up your car -- that even the owner with experiance driving can't do successfully? :ugh2: More power to you.

As far as the rainx, it works but I don't even find that neccessary. You could also use a sealant like Zaino on the glass.

:iagree:

I'd only ever valet if I had one of those Uprev valet maps that limited speed to 35 mph and RPM to 3,000 (in the Z, probably 1500 in the Mustang.)

i thought my wife was curbing the wheels on my other dd and found out she valet parks downtown. :icon14:

the last time i let a valet park my dd, the lip spoiler came loose. :icon14:
