Blue Z, Black Spoiler?
 

I've painted the wheels black, sprayed the tails black, painted door handles black, so would a black spoiler look good with the black accents I've already done on my blue Z? I can't seem to find a picture anywhere where someone has done this. I've also got the N-Spec Nismo rear bumper, any suggestions on what spoiler to go with would be helpful also. Looking to spend no more than 300 for one if possible. Thanks guys

Not sure if this will help but I've recently purchased the Mine's CF add-on.....here it is just slid on the back of my OEM CF spoiler. It's getting installed along with other goodies but this is at least an example. I like the black spoiler on my Monterey Blue Z:

This alone will limit you to the CF OEM spoiler, most likely:

It's $399.99......that's the one I have in the first photo of my car. The other option would be to get your current OEM painted. Not sure how much that would run you but I wouldn't think it would too much over the price you are looking to spend. Hope this helps. :tup:

$194.99 OEM style rear spoiler painted! And you can even choose what color you want the spoiler painted....not too bad!

Thanks for the pictures! That looks great on your Z. I'm just trying to picture what the OEM spoiler would look like with the Nismo bumper I got. I know that the Nismo spoiler is out of my price range of what I'm wanting to spend on one, but is there any knock-offs or anything that is as much of an aggressive look to go with the bumper? What am I looking at with installing the spoiler since I've never had one on the car? I saw the DIY thread on this, but it doesn't really look like something I would be comfortable doing myself...

Also thank you for this site! $194 for the OEM spoiler, being painted is a very good price. If I can get someone to photoshop a black one on my car for me I just may be sold on it. Thanks!

Go with the CF !!

No prob! I'm not sure if anyone on here has a black OEM spoiler....but if you can just sorta picture in that first photo of my car next to the building as not being CF (I know that's hard to do considering you already realize in your mind it is CF :icon17:) that gives a pretty good idea at what your going to expect to see.

I'll look around and see if I can get lucky with a Google search and find a blue Z with a black OEM spoiler. ;)

I would go with the CF if it weren't double the price of the OEM solid black one...I really like it but would like to see the combo of it on my car with the Nismo bumper if anyone could photoshop it for me. Thanks for all the input, I just need to pull the trigger cause I've been researching this forever haha

Honest opinion, CF looks ok, but a few things with the CF, sun fade, also you would have to get all the remaining pieces CF to match IMHO, side skirts etc etc, black would look nice, flat or clear coated, but I truly think color matched blue would be Kick Azz, I love the blue 370z it's beautiful, I think you have more than enough black accents and could def get away with color matching:)

Hmmmm....side skirts....that's the only part I didn't match on my car. I have (or will have) the Mine's front lip, Mine's CF rear spoiler add-on, EVO-R rear diffuser & license plate area cover, SpawnAero CF B pillars, and EVO-R center & top cover bumper.

I have the Central 20 side skirts on the way.....they aren't CF and I don't think I'll add CF side skirts to mine but that's a personal choice. :icon17: CF side skirts would certainly not look bad at all! (again, a personal choice, too)
