It is more noticeable on the Black. Most people don't even notice it unless you point it out to them. The other problem is when you wax the car, the polish can collect by the line. Other than that small issue, it was really a good investment.

Why? Do you have one on your car? Have you ever had one installed? If you did, what issues did you have? I have owned many sports cars in my life and this is the first one that I installed the bra on. I will never have a new car in the future that doesn't have a clear bra. I detest chips in my paint and the bra fixes that 100%

This is really a good thing if you travel the highways as it is like the front of the car is being sandblasted.

Mine is Monterey Blue and you barely notice the clear bra. Around $560 in VA because he did three Z and gave us a discount.

WRONG, best thing you can do to take care of your car! Especially with the thin paint on the Z.

Yup! +1...I love it and worth every penny, Like I mentioned. This the 3rd time have it on a car. Keeps the front looking new.

i have been told on white it looks yellowish...is that true

Azroadster 11-05-2010 07:57 PM

I have seen white cars with a bra that had a yellowish tinge. I'm sure that if you keep it waxed that would not happen. My car is yellow, so I wouldn't know if it turns yellow or not!

That was with the earlier generation of 3m Clear bra material. That no longer occurs with the 3rd (4th?) generation of film

XPEL is looking for a car to wrap in their new Satin clear protection film... You get the same protection as their premium clear bra but over your entire car giving you the satin look ;) they are asking for a car on my350z and its free!!!

Ventureshield Ultra

Is the way i went. Doesn't yellow and not noticeable. Will see line but for mine, those lines are on my partial fender and looks as if part of the car. Hardly noticeable. I had full hood, front bumper, rocker panels, lights and partial fenders. Cost 1150 with lifetime warranty. Mines black by the way.
