Zele front aero bumper for Nismo?
 

I really love the looks of Zele's Z34 Front Aero Bumper and want to replace the stock front bumper on my Nismo with the Zele. Has anyone done this before? What installation changes would be necessary from mounting the Zele Bumper on a stock Z? I'm ready to buy right now but need to know compatibility with the Nismo. Assuming this is doable, my Magnetic Black Nismo bumper will soon be for sale.

Dibs on your Nismo bumper if you put it up for sale, lol.

The Zele Bumper is OEM fit... simply remove the extra dust shields the nismo has and it will mount up perfectly...

I know I am the only person on here running their full kit. :tup:

okay, now then, serious question, how well do you think the lines will work with just the zele front bumper, and the nismo body kit elsewhere? i'm not sure if it'll look weird or not.

the thing is that you need to get the cf lip on it as well...more money.

Maybe not...the mazda 3 may be his dream car. It's next on my list after I get tired of the Nismotic.

i want the factory nismo sides and rear bumper...

but dont want to spend any more money on my Z as im saving up for my next car now. :p

You are right, but the carbon fiber lip costs almost as much as the bumper itself. The shop that will do the install and painting of the Bumper will fabricate a lower lip that protrudes a little less than the Zele CF lip and is more within my budget.

I think it will look great, but if it doesn't, I'll have a great excuse to move up to the Mazda 3. Seriously, though, the Zele bumper is rather conservative compared to some other aftermarket bumpers I've seen, and is a much cleaner (and less busy) design than the original Nismo bumper. I love my nismotic , but I've felt that its front end was its weak styling link. I'll post pics when the project is completed and see what our forum members think. (I'll hold on to the original nismotic bumper in case I've lost my mind in doing this, but it will be fun to do something unique anyway).

A members 40th with nismo front bumper that he cut figer glassed and molded. I love it and IMO it would look cool with either the OEM fangs cut out from OEM bumper and molded in or evo-r stlye fang cover molded.
