It kinda defeats the purpose of having a jdm tail light doesn't it? Why not just smoke out ur oem lights? Please enlighten me if I'm being ignorant. :confused:

i thought this too, maybe the pictures dont show the full detail/ give justice to the lights

hey guys sorry i just added another pic, from far you cant really see the details but closer you can tell and it looks real good. my taillights was ready around 8 last night so ill take some daytime pics today. :D

because the tails are clear i was able to pull it off with 2 coats instead of 3 and i still have a great light output, brake leds,flashers and reverse i really dont see a difference with my back up cam so its an advantage of smoking the jdm instead of the oem's :tup:

he doesn't get the dark red colour... it's just blacked out now.

sorry man was real busy yesterday i just finished step 2 blacking out my headlights :tup: yep my week end was great :happydance: wifey kept complaining but hey lol no worries i will take some pics today i can finally relax after a busy week end.

look great, but yea cant really tell they are the JDM ones anymore. id want a lil more to show through i guess.

The main thing I would do is clear them so they aren't so dull and matte looking.

i did 2 coats of clear. and my headlights are flat black so its a perfect match :D
