It is vastly easier to splice into the parking light wiring and will allow the DRLs to be operated in the parking light setting and they will remain on when the headlights are on as well.

just tap any switched fuse and run a relay if needed. how many amps do those LED's take in total?

Probably like 0.5 A :p

But I'd like to know a good source to tap for this. I asked my wife, and this is how she wants it wired, so that's how it'll be :)

lol at 0.5A you dont need a relay. just tap one of the switched fuses in the driver side (powersocket/cigarette lighter/etc), go through the firewall, through the fender. then ground your wire on the fender or something close to the lamps. should be a no brainer.

but if i was to do it i would also just tap the parking marker light and use it only at night time.
