Contact these guys. I think they did the overlays.

I think they custom made them and do not offer them on the site. Maybe they can make another set for you. I would at least try to ask them if I were you.

Heard back from them and they want $35 plus shipping for mod. Not worth it. Hoping someone in this forum has one to sell me.

Maybe a group buy would lower the costs?

His price is for a plastic overlay over gauge that requires sanding. I am loooking for the original sticker overlay applied yet and that’s it.

White Face Gauges

Maybe not exactly what you were looking for but for that price you could probably do them in whatever color you prefer...

How much did they charge for wrap of gas gauge?? Or did you want all gauges wrapped? All I want is the gas gauge like Simalta did initially gonna go by sign store to see if they can make it.

If someone can upload a picture of the overlay or fuel gauge with accurate measurements when I hit the print button, I will go around town and try to find place that will do them. There is a place in Cedar Park that I will check out tomorrow.

The picture here, when you print it, it covers the entire sheet of paper and is not the actual size of the fuel gauge.

They are vinyl overlays, similar to what you are looking for but are an entire set. Created to cover the existing gauge faces. They have a wide variety of color (for a price) I figured for 20 dollars for the all white set of it doesn't work out as expected it won't be a huge loss.

danegrey 06-12-2018 09:28 AM

Well, that is kinda neat "White Face Gauges", Have to think about it...
thanks for the link

Np man. I had thought the same thing. Since they're really arent that many options for them and the member that did them here is long gone. I'm just curious how to remove the bezel face without damaging any clips. Seems like it should just "pop" or snap together but we all know how that goes lol. 20 bucks for white seems fair and I've messeged the company and it covers the entire cluster and the 3 pod section as well. I think just the gas gauge cover was a few bucks so may as well give it a shot for a few bucks more!

Ian B 06-12-2018 11:54 AM

Local print shop is gonna make them for me. Got to bring car for exact measurements and print. No minimum order needed and will be $10 each.

They make a lot of different colors.

How was the install Baron? I just ordered white (my car is pw) and it looks pretty straightforward and I'm mechanically inclined but this bezel removal has my slightly worried. Don't want to break anything lol

Thanks for the advice!! I've been searching and can't come up with exactly what I'm looking for lol. I installed indigo gauges years ago on my Eclipse and it wasn't hard but annoying. I'm hoping not to botch this and if you have any more pointers enlightwn me good sir!!

Not trying to hijack this thread, I still have my eclipse.

I was hoping you weren't going to ask that question. It's a gs.

*J*ap***V*et* 06-13-2018 12:21 AM

Man clean is clean. And that's a nice 2g!! I've been wanting a 4g just to play around with actually. That 3.8 mivec is pretty stout! Certainly not fast but fairly quick and cheap to modify.

I made up for the lack of power in the eclipse with the z. It's a '99, I bought it new in late '98. It only has 42000 miles on it. Hated the 3g's, I agree with you on the 4g's.

*J*ap***V*et* 06-13-2018 04:46 AM

I had a 3rd gen...very underrated car in actuality. Mine was a 00 GT. It just lacked support from vendors so most people were doing engine swaps or going f.i..Wasn't fast either but I always thought it looked more adult than a 2g, was skinnier than a 4 and was more attractive than a 1st lol. Funny thing is most of us 3ger's all went with 350/370/35/37's after.

Nissan calls their's a GT-R

IMO same car but bigger.

Ian B 06-25-2018 11:52 PM

Measurements were taken from the car today to make the overlay. She said matching the C/H/E/F letters for cold/hot/empty/full may be a hard task. She is gonna try anyway but I told her I would be ok if she did a circle cut out for those 4 corner letters and the rest would be just like OP did. Should be ready Thursday for first application on the car and see how it looks.

I just got my overlay set..I'll have to post pics once it gets installed. The overlays look transparent in certain areas like the fuel location
