A little bit of help anyone?

So i think i've got some road tar on my rims..all 4 of them..didnt know when this happened..i brought it back to the dealership and they said it might be road tar as well..i was gonna powdercoat the rims black anyway..but the guy charging me $600 for all 4 rims which i thought is kinda pricey..
My question is what is a good product out there that i can use to get rid of the road tar stain on the rims? did i mention it basically smooth itself onto the rims as well..any help is appreciated..thanks

Have you tried soaking the area and trying a clay bar?

bug and tar, the liquid one, not the spray should be able to get it off. just be prepared to do a lot of scrubbing.

i think i had the turtle wax bug and tar.

get some 3M adhesive cleaner fluid and wipe it off, make sure you seal or wax the area afterwards.

try RC car motor spray or nitro cleaner.

or gasoline
or wax

they all remove tar very effectively. wax afterwards.

I would spray some Tarminator on to a rag and wipe/dissolve it that way. Be sure to wipe up and drips or runs. Follow up with a wheelwax.

Ok..i will give those method a try..damn its gonna be a pain in the *** getting those off..thanks guys

with gasoline it will come off with little to no effort.

but after you're done with your rag rinse it well and bag it while wet with water so it doesn't combust in your trash can. i have a hazard trash can for that but still i dont like it sitting in my garage longer than over night...
