Welcome Jay, congrats on the new Z.
It depends on what you want to do with your car, you have many options.
~Track/Auto-X events: Upgrades would include oil cooler, brakes, etc.
~Style: Upgrades include wheels, exterior, etc.
~Power: Upgrades include exhaust, intake, forced induction, etc.

I would spend sometime in the Member's gallery and see what some people have done, we have seen everything from full race builds to show cars and in between. I would start out by thinking of what you want to enjoy more about your car or what you may not enjoy and wish to change and look into that first.

I understand the differences between style and power but what is "Track/Auto-x event"?

Do you mean that "Track/Auto-X events" is meant for taking pics?

Yup Fresno is pretty damn hot in the summer, and I hate convertible too, especially when the z looks so good with it's hardtop. Congratulations on your new car

ty ty ty!!!
any suggestions on what to do with?

KaienZ34 07-17-2010 10:59 PM

As other's have said it depends on what you want to do with the car and what your style is not to mention what you want to spend. In my opinioin i'd go for window tint, intake, high flow cats, exhaust, and wheels. There are many to choose from and members can get some good deals in the sponsor section. Just have a look around and give them a p.m....Injoy

JayYoon 07-18-2010 03:07 AM

GRRRR!!! too be honest... i just recently went to vegas... hoping that i get my rims(1k), cop radar (450), and a nice wallet(450).... i was able get em all... or to be more specific... i can afford them all now... but now that i have very wide variety of selections... idk what to do!!!!

209Z 07-18-2010 07:50 PM

I agree..I have 20" Tork rims black on chrome and people say they're crap and they were worth $2600 w/ tires! WTF! they looks sweet IMO..but I'd love to get my hands on some matte black 19" TE37s!!!!!

JayYoon 07-20-2010 11:28 AM

dang...

JayYoon 07-20-2010 11:29 AM

so i cant get a decent lookin rims with like 1k?

elmz 07-20-2010 11:38 AM

Well I'm sure you can get some rims for 1k, usually imitations. If you got the sport package with your Z, remember then, you got 19's on your car. I personally would not get anything smaller than that, so for 1k...that's practically impossible. There are a lot of wheels/rim threads on here, so if you do a search you might find a set you like. I decided to go with some performance and a little bit of sound first, so I got HFC's (high flow cats).

Some ideas for you-

1. Clear Bra to protect that purdy paint
2. Window tint for that hot *** sun
3. 15mm front and 20mm rear H&R spacers for the wheels.
4. LED front marker bulbs, stealth front and rear turn signal bulbs.
5. Mild suspension drop (Tanabe, Tein, Eibach, etc...)

The stock Sport rims are very nice! They are forged and set the car off. I am a rim kinda guy and until I can save some serious $$$ I will just keep the Rays on. You spent at least 30K on a car, you can't go super cheap on rims. It's not a Honda :(

Good luck! :hello:
