Was it easy to do leaving the handle mechanism in tact, or did you completely take apart the whole handle assembly?

I'm trying to find a shop to take care of this for me, but no one is comfortable taking the handle apart to paint the whole thing so there isn't any silver showing. Or should I just do it my damn self? I dont really want to cause I don't have a safe place I can paint it without sand/dust getting all over them from just the air... :ugh2: Effin AZ

nice work - can you explain real quick on how the door handles can be safely removed?

I will put up the DYI information on Monday I'm been busy all week working on the Nissan electrical class I will get the information done by Monday night or Tuesday night
