Oh, and those links worked just fine
|
I'm not sure what it could be then. As you can see it's designed to just sort of snap into place.
Fedex will be coming out to pick up your fascia soon and we will test fit it on our car to see what could be happening. I will post the results of that test fitment as soon as the fascia arrives. Anyone in Southern California with an Injen intake on their Z who would be interested in allowing us to use their vehicle for a test fitment? |
The injen intake isn't making any sort of contact with the bumper, so I don't think that will make much of a difference.
|
damn it sucks you couldnt make it fit. I had some issues with my intakes but found a different method
|
Damn....first you have problems with Forgestar.....now STILLEN. Man, luck is not on your side.
Hope it all gets resolved for ya. |
wow that is a nice fitment in the vid...
yours must be defective |

Glad this is resolved and glad to see Stillen doing the right thing to fix things.
PS: Shumby stop being a douche and GTFO with your leaking S/C :bowrofl: |
what is your next plan with a bumper?

*UPDATE*
Did another test fit tonight before I sent it back to Stillen. Wanted to exhaust all options before calling it quits. GOOD NEWS, I found the issue causing my bumper not to be able to fit hardly at all. The issue is in the headlight alignment. With so many mounting points on the headlight, any variation in the headlight compared to the one they molded from could cause issues. I've removed my headlights enough to know that they don't bolt exactly in the same spot automatically, there is some play in the mounting. So I loosened the headlights before test fitting this time, and was able to get the bumper on correctly. I still have some issues that I have addressed with Kyle, so waiting or his response. For now, some pictures of this test fitment: http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...5-100-1291.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...6-100-1293.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...8-100-1295.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...9-100-1297.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...0-100-1298.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...1-100-1299.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...2-100-1301.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...3-100-1302.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...4-100-1303.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...5-100-1304.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...6-100-1306.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...7-100-1311.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...8-100-1312.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/carav...9-100-1313.jpg |
Looks like a good fit! They should include the headlight bolts loosening in all instructions from now on.
So what are the issues you still have? |

Even though it's not yet 100%, it's a great leap from the previous step. That kit is so sexy it would hurt to see it go back!
Best of luck |
Just a quick update.
I decided to return the bumper to Stillen. I never could get it to fit the way I wanted, and wasn't about to spend an extra $400-500 for a shop to do the required trimming and fixing to get it to look right. Bumper arrived back at Stillen yesterday, just waiting for my money back. |
