Getting rid of scuff marks on the dash

Seems like the rubbery dash on these cars scuff up quite easily. I have a couple light scuffs that i want to remove, anyone have any ideas?

Why do you have scuff marks on the dash?

I have the dash. Makes my stomach turn. I want to cover it. Any ideas how I could go about doing that?

Trying to fit a hockey bag in the passenger seat..... ugh.. never again..

kenchan 06-29-2010 11:22 AM

try some Prima Nero or Aerospace303. they will minimize scuffage. i use Prima Nero (available through amazon).

actually, it's best to put the stuff on BEFORE you get any scuffs cause it coats a matte (yet slick) barrier so your shoes and stuff do not catch.

Maybe try a Mr Clean Magic Eraser? That might do the trick. I read on a few other forums it was good to get shoe scuff marks off of the panels. Give it a try!

kenchan 06-29-2010 12:33 PM

no, dont use the magic eraser. it's an abrasive and will make the area white. i'd keep that thing in the kitchen sink and stove tops.

i use quick interior wiped by maguires and it does the trick

Chop it up in easy to move peices. If you gota put it back in the front seat. You could stack it up.

Thus the reason I want to cover it with somthing like leather. But I'm not sure how to go about doing it with the airbags.

the dash in my IS300 literally melted in the hot texas sun. I heard of 303 Aerospace when it was too late... bbbbbbbuuuutttttt the product did make a wonderful improvement to the already ruined dash, and it made the good plastic look factory fresh with no nasty residue, or overly shiny/oily surface. just factory fresh!!

js1 06-30-2010 04:54 PM

where do they sell the aerospace303 cleaner?
