Nismo rear bumper bracket??

I was looking at the rear bumper on my 09 Nismo today, lying underneath the car and looking up at the exhaust and I noticed two black, metal brackets that looked like they should be attached to the bumper but were just hanging there.

Would someone mind looking under their car and tell me if theirs is the same way? There is one bracket held to the bumper with a pop rivet right behind the center of the exhaust and 2 black brackets. One on either side. Should they be attached to something?

There aren't any holes in my bumper for the other 2 black brackets to attach to at all. I'm wondering if they should be or if they just prevent the bumper from hitting the muffler.

As far as i can tell there is only one bracket directly at the center of rear lower bumper. It is connected to the frame with 3 pop rivet plugs and attaches to the bumper with 1. Not sute aout those other 2 brackets?

Maybe it's possible that they come on all 370z models. But just the center one is attached on the Nismo. Going to swing by a local dealership and look under their Nismo to be sure. It will bug the **** out of me.

No one's biting on this thread like I thought.

I went to a dealership that I did not buy my car from and they have 2 Nismo's. They both have 3 pop rivets holding the bottom of the bumper to the car. The center one like on mine and 2 others, one to the left and one to the right.

It is not possible the factory left these off. The dude who sold me my car said the manager would take it home occasionally. What I think really happened is someone ran it into something and they took the bumper off to repaint it and didn't put it back on correctly.

I'm going to the damn dealership tomorrow after work and giving the car salesman one chance to be honest. Either way, I am going to ask for a brand new bumper that will be painted and installed for free OR I want a whole new car. Because this isn't the only thing wrong with the bumper. The paint is messed up in a few more places where it shouldn't be.

What ended up happening?

This has been posted two years ago but im not intending to got this bump. Just having problem on the bumper bracket and i badly need some sort of asssistance. To make the story short my z had a slight accident to the front end damage is my minimal but it pushed my bumper up. The brackets bent upward about 10 to 15 degrees. What could be the possible solutions in solving this one?
