does anyone know if they have these in stock? I want to know before ordering on-line...I sent a email asking this & no response yet :(

Supposedly the Z store has both 3-pieces in stock (all frp, and carbon center, but I haven't checked).
I'm holding out for the 1 piece cf model, which is not in stock at the moment.
Jay only said something like "won't have them for a while", but I don't know what that means.
I'm hoping for a better answer (Jay?)

OKay Today I got 1 CF and 2 FRP black one piece lip in stock. I know its late and my flight to las vegas is tomorrow. I'll pack them up first. So if anyone wants them PM me now!

You need to cut the fang cover. Cuz trim the center lip will be much harder.

Wrote this up for somebody and thought it might be helpful to others:

Installing is easy but just take your time. As with any aftermarket body parts install, test fit everything first.

-Clean the all the piece and apply double sided tape.

-Clean the bumper with some Bug & Tar remover and make sure there is no residue left over.

-Install one of the side pieces first, not the center. It should line up pretty well with the bumper's lines. Attach with just the double sided tape.

-The center piece is next. This is a key step. Peel off just enough tape
backing so you can peel it off with the center piece set flush to the bumper later on. You want to be able to adjust the center piece from side to side, so don't fully apply it to the bumper just yet.

-Have a friend hold the center piece in place while you put the other side piece on (again with just double sided tape). The side pieces will hold the center piece in place.

-Center the "center piece" so the gaps on either side are equal and peel off the rest of the tape backing.

-Step back and admire for a minute :) Not done yet.

-You will need to jack-up the car to put the screws in. The factory jack works fine if you do one side at a time.

-Using a 1/16" drill bit or any drill bit slightly smaller than the provided screws, carefully drill out some pilot holes into the bumper using the holes already on the lip as a guide.

-The provided screws are self tapping. Using a hand screw driver only (no power tools!) tighten until flush.

-All done, enjoy!

i use rubbing alcohol to remove any wax before i apply any adhesives.

also heat it very well... like ambient temps over 75F and let it cure at least 24hrs.
best if you can get the mounting surface very warm (almost hot) to the touch using the sun or IR heater/heat gun.

no water, no rain, etc. keep it dry for 24hrs.

Why dont people remove the stock bottom sport lip thing< I feel like it looks odd with this lip, and I bet it would flow better if that piece wasnt their.

anyone not have to paint the black side pieces. are they holding up okay?

I didnt paint mine, cross your fingers lol. It's only been a few days of driving though.

Yeah... after seeing my pictures, I started to wonder how it would look without the sport lip.

thezstore left out my screws. what kinda screws do i need to go get and how many. Someone please chime in

How much do they want to sell it back to you?

is there a diy to install this front lip?

Not really, but here is a write up I made a while back.

The lip will come with a about a dozen screws and two rolls of 3m double sided time (no instructions). The the lip should be painted by a pro or with rattle can. At the very least, hit it with a can of satin black and satin clear. The paint it comes with scratched very easily.

I'm going to paint my fangs & center of the lip matte black. Has anyone else done this?

I just had my EVO-R one piece CF front lip installed.
I had it pre-painted to match the car. Almost looks stock.

Cause I like the car to look stock, but not be stock.

Yea, I understand the aftermarket stock look, but the CF is more $money$ than the standard FRP.

It would have saved you $100 bucks on the lip that could have made up for painting the lip. Still looks good though :tup:

i dont understand why people leave the stock chin spoiler on when installing this.. it sticks out below the lip , looks out of place imo

lip looked good! I also agree why not just get the FPR lip if you would paint it ?

I had mine taken off to have Nissan repaint my front bumper the correct white, but I don't think I'm going to have it put back on. Anyone interested in buying it?

I still think the cf is going to hold up better in the long run.
And I wanted the one piece because I think it looks better.

I need to give it some more time, but I'm inclined to agree that it just doesn't look right under there.

Do you ever go to those Starbucks meets they have every Saturday morning in Fairfax? I'd love to get a look at your car in person. I've been waiting to see one of these fully painted out to match the car.

Lots of cars have air dams that stick down below the line of the front bumper. Corvettes are a good example of this. Plus, the black spoiler acts as sort of a rub strip to protect the rest of the bumper. I'd rather have some cheap plastic part occasionally grind on a driveway that a painted fiberglass part.

Def the correct answer, my installer & I both agreed that the plastic front air dam would protect the lip from dips & speed bumps.
