Need favor from 2010 Z owner...

For those of you owning a 2010 Z with the homelink mirror. All i need is the diameter of the review mirror stem. It's most likely 23mm, but i need to confirm. thank you very much in advance!!

i just measured mine its actually 76 mm, maybe i'm wrong. but it was pretty thick. You are talking about the part that you would hang some sort of parking pass on or something right?

Osiris 06-06-2010 04:22 PM

yea, the round stem that goes into the back of the actual mirror. You have a touring Z ? Has the homelink buttons and everything? I was 98% sure it should be 23mm, i just wanted to verify....76mm doesn't sound right.

Also, if you look here, this should clarify where the measurement is coming from.

Sorry I can't be too much help since I don't have a Z yet, but if it helps I think Jeffblue might be measuring circumference, not diameter.

But if nothing else...free bump.

Always hated geometry! But circumference is what i need. Can anyone confirm Jeffblue's findings?

Looks like you are correct at 23mm unless they make one that is 22mm. I just measured mine and the dial caliper said about .88 inches which is between 22 and 23. It's an odd angle and that was the best I could do.

Just measured mine with a gauge. 23mm exactly.

Thanks everyone!!

yea 76mm is way too much thats over 3 inches lol. bigass mirror.. 23mm seems right

Jeffblue 06-07-2010 02:00 PM

haha woops i totally measured the circumfrence. my bad.

yea i think a diameter of 76m could support like a 15lb mirror!
