The red lens on interior of both doors
 

Does anyone know what the red lenses are for, that are at the bottom of each door on the interior side?

seems like they could be made to light up.

I checked the owners manual and could find nothing.

There reflectors for when the doors are open on the side of the road.

When you open your car door at night, cars passing you can see that your door is open (the reflectors lit up when passing car's headlight hit it)

They make ones that light up and have a little Z on them, str8 JDM! Check "JDM goodies" thread in exterior/interior section. Hope that helps :tup:

Thanks guys! I would have never thought of that. With doors as long as our Z's are, the reflectors are probably a good idea.

That sounds like a "neat Mod!" I'm going to check them out.

i dont think the Z doors are THAT long. the altima coupe has longer doors, so when i got to the Z i was pretty surprised at how short they were.
