Looking like it fit perfectly.

Looks good kenchan  I glad I made this thread, already 2 people have bought this diffuser instead of that problem filled evo-r diffuser. Its a Win-Win :happydance:

I'm glad you did as well. Looks like this will be the one I purchase also, after seeing Kenchan's nice write-up

Thanks guys. :D I'm super happy I got this diffuser.

I recommend doubling up on the mounting tape at the top. Forgot to mention this earlier. :p that's if you used 45Mil VHB tape like me.
(45Mil is standard thickness one would find at the auto parts stores).

Ya it really is a decent looking piece, even tho it's alil bit more then the evo-r diffuser, not having to worry about fitment issues is worth the extra $

Fitment is no issue. :p

The surface finish has 4-5 blemishes all less than 5mm. Can't really see it from 6" away. I'm going to be polishing and waxing after the tape cures so no issue. :p

The CF weaves are very clean and looks great.

As for the tape, just double up at the top. Should take care of that peelback issue even if you used off the shelf 3M mounting tape sold at autoparts stores. Fujimura advertises that you can remove and paint, etc if you get tired of it so I think they didnt mean the tape to be a permanent bond like VHB.

It's a great piece imho! :D

one more pict.

btw, that VHB seems to have cured completely. thing is solid. :p

Just got mine in today. Quality looks real good.

Plus, the added bonus of getting Japanese newspaper used as insulation.

Damn, I didn't get any j-newspaper. :D

Be sure to doubleup on the tape at the top and off-set it so that it's not super thick but thick enough to make good contact. :)

Thanks for the advice. You used the 3M VHB tape right? Thinking about getting a roll to use on the diffuser.
