LED lighting

9 Attachment(s)
I wanted to display some of these evening interior shots, the blue is so intensive at night, the orange Z door sill compliments the blue. I only have standard power amber LEDs right now Bill over at V-LEDS promised to send me the next batch of higher power amber. They look about as good as stock should of been {a little washed out}. The white LEDs in the license area are supurb without drawing too much attention. Since these lights are sold in paired packs I have one blue LED left for an underhood light that I'll post after installation.

:roflpuke2: Uh huh! Someone tried to tell me earlier today that there's more than one color in the spectrum.......I had to politely disagree and say "If it ain't blue....I don't believe you!" :icon17:

bluestyle55 03-29-2010 02:20 PM

The custom amp/sub case looks nice!

kenchan 03-29-2010 02:55 PM

thats bluetastic... (too much for me, but for hot import nights or something you're on the right path).

XwChriswX 03-29-2010 04:50 PM

I wants! I wants! :yum:

The BlueMax 03-29-2010 09:55 PM

Yea, the blue looks great at night in person believe me 2theextreme knows, the amps and sub worked out great the board splits in the center with each wing having its own storage area. On the right is a bottle of slime with a portable compressor, on the left is my tow hook. Doing away with the spare tire & wheel plus the jacking equipment saves me close to 35 pounds. The system is so much better than any factory unit. Anyone going to ZCon in Nashville, will meet up and check out our Zs.

I believe the tail lights are Led's

labk888 03-30-2010 10:56 PM

Ok.... LED newb question here.

Is this just replacing some bulbs with LED bulbs? Or, is this something more complicated like wiring up some LED strips and or some other custom lighting that needs to be specially wired up?

Yeah, I'd love to trash all the Spare tire + accessories, just this is my DD so I need it to be rational as well as spectacular. So I'm stuck with that stuff lol. I'll prolly get a Zenclosures box for the subs, and mount the Amp on that. But I had blue lighting in my tC as well, you should check it out. I loved it. Can't wait to do the swap for the Z as well. Are you thinking about doing floorboard/underseat lighting at all?

Also, are these just the map lights you swapped out? Or completely redone the interior... I ask because between the map lights, there is this downward facing orange light to illuminate the shifter. Did you swap that out as well, and how hard was this if so?

lando76 04-04-2010 11:32 PM

makes me want to take some ecstasy and dance for 24 hours str8.

Prosport Gauges 04-05-2010 04:12 PM

redroadster10 04-05-2010 07:01 PM

get something bigger then a 9mm maybe a 45... leaves a nicer hole, but do they make any red led dome lights? if so where can i get them

Prosport Gauges 04-05-2010 08:07 PM

ok i take back the 9mm and trade it in for a 50.cal sniper rifle, now blow my head off.

In all honesty man, your makeing the Z look so gay with the LED lights. I dont even think girls like that ****, I bet if you did have a girl in the car and you turned to her and smiled she would see your neon teeth and laugh :p

Yea, I know which one your talking about and it only compliments the blue just like the orange Z door sills, I left it alone.

Florida_GATOR 04-05-2010 08:52 PM

...I thought blue interior lights like that were illegal to have....?

The BlueMax 04-05-2010 08:54 PM

Listen those stock white bulbs were boring, after seeing 2theextremes layout and asking the same questions I'm getting, I went for this look I find it more interesting, if you don't like it thats fine I just thought you went out on it a bit, if I don't care for something I don't have to say anything and if I do then I voice an opinion.

brakedrift12 04-05-2010 09:30 PM

looks good, but isnt it too, where i can put this, hmm... too ......blue??

370z TT 04-05-2010 11:30 PM

Could you make the interior glow the same color as the gauges? That would look good, but I was never really a fan of blue after being flashed by so many people with blue lights.

tjlazer 04-13-2010 12:20 AM

What kind of LEDS do I need for my Map lights and License Plate? I want LEDS!
