Would be worth while to do this to a roadster, plus you could have the nice kit along with navi and leather.

Snakes709 03-29-2010 10:51 PM

Well i was planning on getting the nismo kit paid off from godspeed (i put a 380 deposit) but it has to wait cuz i need to get my ZX6R ready for the track, which means i need a exhaust, ignition module and a dyno tune)

What if you really want a Blue Nismo? ;)

So here is the update:

Still waiting on the protectors. I read another post on another thread from someone who did this conversion and said that these protectors had to be shipped in from Japan. This would explain the lengthy turn-around time on these parts. Just wondering if anyone out there has any experience in getting parts shipped from Japan and could give me an estimate on the time frame that I should be expecting on these parts. Thanks!

Sorry for the kinda thread jack but godspeed innovations sent me these pictures today. Only difference between this nismo kit and the rear one is 1. this comes with cheap mesh grill and 2. Has the spot for the fog light, which is perfect for mine since my car came with it.

I definately want to see pictures when done. I love the Nismo rear, but I love the rear fog light.

Hey Thano, how much did it cost you to paint your kit? I started calling around and so far one shop got back to me, $9000 in labour and another $2000 for materials... There is a shop on the base that does good work and gives us, military guys, a good deal so im going to check them out after easter weekend.

Question for you Thano or anyone that can answer me this question. I orderd the fender liners, or "protectors" I used the part number you listed Thano. Took 2 weeks for the dealership to get the parts in from japan and i got them today. However they arent the little add on, apparently they are the full fender liner...do these look right? For some reason i have a feeling they are ment for either the rear wheels or the rear part to the front fenders.

Those are PART of it....you also need these little pieces that attach them to the rear bumper and front bumper or there will be a gap.

Here...let me run out and snap pics of it. Hang tight!

Snakes709 04-23-2010 03:05 PM

hanging tight...lol

The little triangle-sized pieces you'll also need. The front has two pieces on each side as well as a bracket that you can't see that goes on the inside and connects the corners of the under tray and front bumper. The rear sides each have one piece. When you go to your dealership, ask them so see an exploded view of the fenders and rear quarter panel/wheel well. you can see the small pieces. Have them order you all of them.

Snakes709 04-23-2010 03:20 PM

ok so what exactly was the parts i orderd? I thought i was ordering those 2 little pieces on each side...do they connect to the stock fender liner or did i need to get what i got today? Also do you have the part number for that bracket? I'm basically doing this blind cuz the dealership doesnt have a exploded view of the nismo 370z, only base/touring/sport version.

Thano 04-23-2010 03:30 PM

well the fender liners you got are different, so keep those. I also got them. But the other parts unfortunately I don't have the parts slip for anymore :( Do some research...there was a big like 17 page thread on the nismo parts somewhere on the forums. I believe they listed the parts

Hit up Z1 motorsports they hooked me up with the brackets for the rear sure they can help you out bro
