Putting window tinting unto consideration you can conserve a lot of energy by putting up well tinted car windows, affectivity ratings show a significant increase on battery and gas savings since you’re using minimal cooling or heating system with the use of windows tints. For example, solar control window tints moderates the sunlight entering your car while balancing your car temperature and capable of blocking up to 99% of UV rays. For each degree you raise or lower your thermostat, you can save anywhere from 1 to 5 percent on your battery and gas depending on where you live. Plus the known fact that well tinted windows has fewer tendencies to be carjacked, the better the tint the better your security is. Very nice and love that Nismo!

As you see 35% on 370Zs looks darker than 35% on sedans because of less sun lights getting through due to smaller windows and the height of the Z.
However, it looks great and not too dark on your car since your car's color is light.

I didn't want to create a new thread. I finally got my car tinted today.

One thing I notice after I back in the car into the garage, the corner by the mirror on the driver side is peeling. It's a really small. Right now its about 1/8" peeled. The passenger side is fine. Is there anyway of fixing it myself?? It would be a while before i have time to head back to shop.

I went with 35% all around. I kinda wished I went darker. Oh well.

1: Take it in for them to fix.

2: Remember where you live, the darker the more worries about getting pulled over and the darker the tint the harder to see backing up in dark conditions. Just my opinion.

I initially went with 35% all around, but I will be getting them redone with 20% in the near future.

I just got mine tinted today as well actually over in Jersey. 35% 3M Color stable all around and it looks great. The issue you have with peeling...the guy that did my install didn't cut a piece off the bottom by the door jam where the window moves up and down but he wrapped that around the edge of the window to prevent exactly what happened to you. He did it on both doors and pointed it out but had he not pointed it out I would not have noticed...it's below the black piece on the door but he said that will keep it from catching an edge and peeling off. The guy who did my tint I have to say did an amazing job and the tint looks FACTORY...I have a monterey blue and front tint is illegal in Jersey but it looks so clean and since the color is a "wow" color he said most people will focus on the color of the car and not the windows being tinted.
