License plate situation
 

Ok here is the problem. I bought my car back at the beginning of October in Florida. At the end of October i had to go out of country for 4 months due to work. So i drove the car to Michigan to leave at my parents. Before i left i never received my Florida license plate I just used my 30 day temp plate the dealer gave me.

Well while i was gone i had the post office collect and hold on to my mail. So i go there today to pick it up and of course they cant find it. They said they are gonna look for it and give me a call tomorrow only problem is im supposed to fly up to Michigan tomorrow to pick my car up to bring it back home.

Is there any way to get another temp plate? Just in case they cant find my mail tomorrow or they do find it and my plate isnt in there?

yes, you should be able to get a temp plate at the michigan DMV. this is standard practice when somebody buys a used car out of state from a private party...
