Anyone tried swapping to a "400Z" shift knob?

The old knob is looking worn down and I'm a big fan of keeping things looking OEM-ish. Does anyone know if she shift knob from the new Z would be a direct swap? It looks pretty nice.

If the thread is the same (and no reason why it should not be), then yes.

I ended up doing it. It's a direct replacement. There's no gap between the new knob and the old boot. Pretty good weight — shipping box says 2lbs but it's probably more like 1.5.

If anyone else wants to do it, you can get source knew knob from Z1 or any dealership. I found mine from a FL dealership for $230 but it was backordered so it took 3 weeks to arrive. OE part: 32865-6GP0A
