Skirts with rear duct??

Saw a picture of someone's Z that had skirts with what appeared to be a duct for rear brake cooling. Have been trying to find this picture/info on these and of course not able to find it.

Anyone know of these?...or have I imagined them?

Thanks

cooltoy 12-09-2021 10:43 AM

It doesn’t, but maybe the OP thought it did.

Time for a timeless classic.

Now that is FUNNY!!!

The teamxexon is not the exact one I am remembering, but close.
The C5 ZO6 Corvette had rear brake cooling ducts so I was wondering if some company came up with something similar.

Thanks!!

There are a couple of more kits with faux skirt vents

what racing program are you participating in that requires rear brake cooling to that degree?

There's plenty of track drivers here, and while all universally agree FRONT brake cooling is essential, i have yet to see anyone say they needed to put together any sort of special ducting to get more air to the rear

Had one guy here that used those quarter window scoops to run a hose from there to the rear brakes. Ahhhh.....can't think of his name right now. He had a Z that was leased and gutted it. Turned it into strictly a track car.

Sinolimit or something like that was his name I think.

No racing program...I just liked the look of the one particular rocker panel/side skirt that I saw...now if I could just find that picture again.....
