Well the 370z is nearly 3 inches shorter and nearly 1.5 inches wider than the 350z. And the 370z fenders are huge. I think it looks wide enough.

WOW that is Wiiiide

OMGWTFBBQ 01-22-2010 01:06 PM

Yeah. I won't be going any wider than stock. We can already fit 305's under the rear quarter panels. I don't think I'll be needing any more rubber than that haha.

throwing this out there... that G35 is no where near as wide as that supra and the supra is right around 76 some inches which is a little more than 3 inches wider than our cars stock. so basically we are already wider than a widebody g35 and and with a good set of side skirts you are as wide as the widest supra so you can make ur car wider if thats what gets u off but i'm just going to settle for making it look better

Edit: Might as well throw out a Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide while it's the hot thing to say in every post.

its not about the rubber for some... give it time... i can guarantee you there will be a wider Z

Funny how it looks so good at an angle but so odd and boxy from behind.

I for one would like to see the car a little bit wider. 25mm-50mm each side would really set off the curves of the 370z without being too wide. I am going big power so I need the extra space ;)

I can't wait to see what kinda power you have in mind.

We are looking as an end goal of 1000rwhp on a 4.5L block. I need as much rubber as possible! I know it won't daily drive at that power but there will be a map for it. You know for those supra's, ferrari's and lambos I may run across ;)

armensti 01-22-2010 11:08 PM

i would be interested in a wide body kit but wouldnt it make the car harder to park in tight spaces

I have one for you...

So I'm dropping off my car for some touch up. They are fixing another shops major F up on a widebody kit. Basically a newer Camaro. Here's the thing...there must be 100 holes drilled in the body where the old kit was mounted, right along the sides.

Granted the old shop screwed this thing up but do all widebody kits mount this way. No way in heck I would drill holes along the whole side of any car, is that the norm?
