Headlight problem
Headlight issue....
So passenger side headlight just started to randomly decides to work some days or it’ll stop working at all. I’ve swapped new ballast, they work. Swapped new bulbs, also work. Checked the voltage in the wiring, both the same. Fuses looked fine, still swapped them for new ones. Am I missing something? Tired of spending money on parts that are fine. Also took it to a shop and they did the same thing. Couldn’t figure it out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated so I can stop getting pulled over for the headlight being out. |

Check the ground for the right side head light circuit. Use the FSM in my sig to help pinpoint where that ground is located. You describe an intermittent ground perfectly, you might have corrosion. Good luck :tiphat: |

Try the Morimotos... https://www.z1motorsports.com/all-bl...r-p-18049.html http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-g...ml#post3982032 |
I'd check for wiring problems. As Ghostvette's comment above, verify that you have a good ground(s) and that all connectors are clean and don't have any bent pins.

So if the issue is with a ground somewhere in the factory harness, the Morimoto headlights won’t resolve the issue. Intermittent issues are very hard to trace down. Could be a grounding issue, corroded contacts, frayed wire, etc..... not a fun task as others mentioned. |
