Z emblem on the side

I have another question. When the doors are locked by pressing the button on the door handle or by pressing the lock on the key fob, I noticed that the Z emblem on the side will flash and light up as well. However, this is the only time that it does. Is there anyway to have this stay lit when the lights are on? Or even just when the parking lights are on? I guess Im wondering if there is a way that it could be wired so that it will stay on when the lights are on, or would this be just too much trouble? Thanks:hello::hello:

i think that's wired to the turn signal. i'd assume you can splice wires, but why? if i understand what you want to do look like an airplane running around the freeway lol

anyway, hi, enjoy the boards, and it's perfectly okay to ask two questions in one thread next time :)

I asked about this last year.....I was told it'd be a PITA to do it. I wanted to swap out the color and make 'em blue. Just for car show and all around "hey, check that out!" effect. Getting them off without messing up the paint or the side of the car might be a problem, too.

phelan you aren't shocked I said I wanted mine BLUE are ya?? :icon17:

depending on how the blinker relay works, rewiring those into parking lights may cause your blinkers to blink much faster. something to keep in mind.

it can definitely be done, and using a relay you could even make it toggleable.
