What are these things?!!!

There's a little square next to the fangs on both sides. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and what are they? They don't seem to serve any purpose since they're closed. Good spot for fog lights..or go NAY on that idea?!!

Oh, ok. But no..I'm not interested in more airflow. I was just wondering what they're there for. Thinking about putting some fog lights in there

If you do it, take some pics, wouldn't mind seeing it ^_^

I don't think we have ever gotten any kind of official answer on what they are there for. There was a great deal of speculation when the Z came out that the nismo would have some sort of air flow ducting, but we can see that didn't pan out. I've seen a few posts where people have put fogs there.

It seems like a Nissan thing to place faux vents, the G37 comes with one on each side of the front bumper and it's beating the hell out of people trying to figure out their use lol

Oh..I'd love to see pics of what people did to them!!!!

From what i heard (and saw one picture of but don't remember where) they are for mounting the factory optional foglights. Much searching of JDM part numbers should reveal the housing P/n's i think there is even a picture in your owners manual of the optional turnsignal stalk with the foglight switch.
