yeah looks great so far.

I spy an RSX A-Spec/Integra Type R spoiler in the back! They are gonna paint the bumper, right?

NYBladeZ 01-17-2010 07:36 AM

no, I'm crazy about the look of raw carbon fiber so I plan on keeping it that way

from another angle

So, how's the fit? Looks like some cutting was needed.

PapoZalsa 01-18-2010 09:51 PM

I have not seen a single piece of carbon fiber product that is perfect. That is why I quit buying carbon fiber pieces.

NYBladeZ 01-18-2010 10:15 PM

I highly doubt you will ever find one that is perfect that isn't extremely expensive. Overall the fit is good, yes there will be some drilling of mounting holes and a bit of grinding but hey that's what the body shop is for. With that said, expect with any large carbon fiber piece the cost for a professional install. The guys at bayspeed have a lot of experience install carbon fiber pieces and thus far are doing great.

That's looking good!

Mind if I ask the price of that bumper, that's a lot of CF!

NYBladeZ 01-18-2010 10:34 PM

I got a first time offer, I think they are going somewhere between $600-$800 but that's just a guess

law2004 01-19-2010 01:17 AM

That looks amazing, get us some Higher quality pics after its all done!

NYBladeZ 01-19-2010 06:48 PM

Yes, I know the silver grill has to be painted black, I'll get around to it when warmer days reach NY

m4a1mustang 01-19-2010 06:55 PM

cool. can't help but think the car's just going to look like patchwork with just raw CF.

vipor 01-19-2010 06:58 PM

the only thing unavailable in CF is the doors? well some will be overlays (roof)

NYBladeZ 01-19-2010 07:00 PM

I'm sure you've all seen moto's flat black Z, after I get the turbo done I might go down that road. Personally I don't mind the patchwork look, I didn't take this joint project on until after I got the car in red and I think it looks great. Sure it'll take a second glance to figure it out but a sharp eye will recognize that my Z is wearing a lot of cf.
