16 Nismo Tech - Nav + Tablet Mod?

Has anyone successfully added a tablet to their car + kept the Navigation system?

So my thought is... I don't want to convert my center entertainment to cubby / ac controls - due to - the work / resale ability (word?) ...

BUT I have thought about added a tablet over top of the NAV unit with a hinge or some sort of velcro system - where I could flip the tablet up IF i needed to look at the nav unit - but for the most part keep the tablet in front of the NAV unit + controls... and essentially just filling that entire pocket up with a 10.5in tablet.

Thoughts? Ghetto? I'm stupid?

hah!

Thanks

ALSO - stupid question maybe... Velcro - if I attach it to the top of my NAV unit (the center console) - if I need to remove it... would undu it or goo be gone work?

Yeah, I've looked around - actually all over the internet for a few days and I haven't seen much of anything, other than replacing the entire console and that's not what I'm wanting to do.

I'm just looking to mod something to place over the nav unit and hope to make it as flush and nice looking without destroying my fabric / console in the process.

I mean, I guess I could always buy a spare console cover and just replace it when I end up selling it.

Was just curious if anyone else has come up with a better solution, other than replacing the entire nav unit.

Also, maybe I should of placed this in that section, not this one?

If you've looked around, you've already found what is out there. And that's all relatively new (in the last few years). If you want to do something different, you'll have to pave the way yourself.
