370Z Problems

Two things:

My passenger door will not open. It will only open from the outside handle. Is this the door lock actuator or the interior handle or something else i should be aware of?

My passenger floor gets soaked when it rains. At first I thought it may be related to the A/C condensation line, but that was not clogged. After doing some research, it may be the "rubber grommet" that needs to be replaced. However, it may be tough because then all the wires need to be replaced. What is the "rubber grommet" and are there any other fixes such as using silicon or some type of sealer? I suppose I am just confused as to where this leak is actually coming from. Thanks a ton.

The door sounds like part of the mechanism (eg, the solenoid actuator) has come loose or broken. If you feel like DIYing, download the FSM (link in sig) and it has exploded diagrams, R&R procedures, etc.

The firewall grommet can probably be sealed with some RTV. A little dab'll do ya. The FSM will have the Nissan-approved procedure for replacing.
