Short Shifter Boot mod?
 

Wondering if anyone's had success shortening the boot over their short shifter.

Couple of years back. There was someone who did that. Don't remember who it was.

I am sure you can take it all apart as in this thread, cut it around the bottom and punch holes new mounting points.

Lol this may be a surprise, but I am not entirely confident in my detail work. I saw that thread and was like "i will 101% **** this up." But wth, I might as well try. If ya'll see a WTB post for a Nismo shift boot in the near future, you know what happened...
