Heritage edition owners, need a favor please !

I really like the hood decal / graphic on the Heritage edition 370 Z's. I already installed the rocker graphics and they look great. Can I ask anyone with a 2018 or 2019 370 Z Heritage to please do the following.

1) Im going to make the hood and rear hatch graphics myself.
2) Take a photo of the hood and trunk graphic from a high angle so I can see the contour of the decal.
3) Measure the width of the hood decal from bottom near headlights, then middle of hood, then top of decal near windshield.
Same for rear hatch decal please.

I know its asking a lot, but, I would really appreciate it...

Don't know of many forum members with the Heritage edition. Maybe check with local Nissan dealers to see if they have one in stock.

Hey JARblue, yea tried that but no Nissan dealers within 100 miles have a heritage edition in stock. Trying to use photos on line to estimate size, shape etc but its difficult. Either way I will make it work. Vinyl Im using is high quality but not too expensive so if I screw it up the first time its not a crisis.
Thanks for responding sir ...

If you can find one in stock at a dealer, you might be able to find a nice forum member that is local who could go see it and take the photos you need. Good luck either way

You can install aftermarket vinyl graphic stripes if that is what you are talking about like the 2018 or 2019 Heritage Edition Z’s have it will be less expensive to replace if you mess up the install. The 2018 or 2019 Nissan 370Z “Heritage Edition” are Genuine Nissan vinyl graphic stripes and comes in a full kit and they are expensive. A Nissan dealership parts department that actually has them in stock can measure them for you. From my understanding most Nissan dealership parts departments will special order these vinyl graphic stripes. I’m sure a member here with a 2018 or 2019 Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition will chime in and help you out. These vinyl graphic stripes on the Heritage Edition Z’s look sharp in my opinion.

Thanks for responding, yes I agree they look good and there are not many Heritage Z's around so its a bit unique. As I mentioned I was able to buy the proper rocker stripe kit from a company on line in the U.K. Not expensive at all, only issue was it took forever to get. Product quality is very good and its been on my car for months now and holding up well. Yes there are aftermarket complete kits available cheep and actual OEM kit is available from Nissan but its well over $600.00. I should have bought the entire aftermarket kit in the first place but thought I only wanted the rocker stripes. Now that I see how good the rockers look I decided to do the hood and hatch area. I seem to be pretty good with cutting vinyl graphics "I have done this for friends" on their cars, SS stripes etc. So I have plenty of material. I can probably judge the actual width via photos but if a forum member chimes in it would make it a whole lot easier. I appreciate everyone's help and input ...

Maybe ask the dealer what their refund policy is? Can you buy the kit, measure it, and return it? Might even be worth a small restocking fee.

Wow cooltoy, those photos really help. I could not find any "above car" photos that were clear. This will make the job a lot easier. Thank you very much sir.

Hot Rod 370Z,

I can get you exactly what you need ... but you'll need to be patient for a while. Two days ago I discovered that a relative on my wife's side just bought #49 of the 50 Heritage Z's allotted to Canada, a white coupe with red/burgandy stripes just in the last week.

I've seen it as I drove past their home three days ago, (they're about 6 miles away) but as the owners are both EMT's on different schedules and our RV travelling schedules this summer, it may be a while before I can get to the car and take the measurements you need.

But when I can get that all put together, I'll post pictures and dimensions for all of the decals. I can say that when I saw the new car briefly ... it was stunning ... and I was jealous imagining it in my driveway alongside my roadster.

Wow that would be great, between your help and the photos Cooltoy posted I will be able to match the factory graphics perfectly. To clarify Im talking about the 2019 370 Z, I know for 2020 they came out with an anniversary edition which is totally different graphics & paint package. No problem with time, this is not an emergency and waiting a while to compile as much info as possible is the best thing for me to do. Thank you again for going out of your way and I again thank Cooltoy for the great overhead photos he posted.
