15+ Nismo Rear Diffuser V2

I've been searching for a rear diffuser for my 2016 Nismo, but there don't seem to be a lot of options out there. Saw this Version 2 2015+ Nismo Diffuser on the Street Aero website. Anyone have it already? I've seen a few Zs with the V1 diffuser, but I like this one just a little better. Wondering if anyone has tried it yet.

Would you honestly spend money to put that on your Z?

Drive in reverse and you can clear a minefield with that

It's built wrong and the style doesn't match the car. Fails in from and function, might as well just throw 500 dollars of stickers on the car.

I did get a laugh out of this because they wrote, HPDE (High Performance Driver Education) instead of HDPE (High-density polyethylene). Morons

Do they think they had a better idea and do they think this actually helps?:shakes head::rolleyes:

lol. I felt this one looks better(just a tad) than their previous design. Maybe their V5 would be even better. Wish someone would make one which would work well with the Nismo bumper

Carbon Signal makes one similar to those that came on the R34 GTRs. A lot simpler in design but most likely more effective in function. Those Street Aero ones look terrible and only look decent (at best) on boxy cars since they're so angular.

appearance is subject of course, but why do you say the Street Aero unit will not be effective? for a diffuser extension is important after all.

I didn't say it won't be effective, all external body mods affect aerodynamics to some degree. But, this diffuser (from what I can see based off of the website pictures) looks like function was an afterthought (with appearance not too far behind imo). However, I can't find any pictures showing how far it extends under the car (if at all), or if it's just a small add-on attached to the bumper... for reference, the CS piece extends from the back of the car to almost the rear axle). I think they're just trying to capitalize off the current trend of hard parkers trying to look like race cars.

I do love the GT wing though, but that's a Fly1 piece.

hmm looking at it again i think you're right. without the underbody venturi it isn't going to do much.
