Airbag360 module/Airbag light still on after reset

Hey guys,

So I've been losing my mind over this for the past few days, hopefully someone here as resolved it and can save me the expensive trip to the dealer.

I recently swapped my seats out for some Braum Elites and purchased the airbag emulator from Airbag360:

https://airbag360.com/nissan-370z--p...1018-669-p.asp

After plugging the emulator in and performing the reset maybe 10-15 times I still can't get my light to reset. Am I doing something wrong here? I know there are three connectors under our stock seats (2 white - one being the seat belt, along with another white (where the module plugs into) and yellow one).

From looking at the DIY version of the fix with soldering resistors, it seems like the yellow plug would be the one to cancel out the light right? I'm just not sure if leaving the yellow connector unplugged (since the emulator doesn't plug there) would be one of the reasons my light won't go out.

Anyone have no luck with the Airbag360 module? Or do I just have to keep doing the reset til eventually it works?

Thanks!

Other members have had problems with the reset procedure. Timing is critical.

FSM (link in sig) will have wiring diagrams, connector descriptions, etc

Edit: The problem may be that you don't have the seat airbag connected. You may need another simulator for that.

You're in Long Island, if your not too far, I know that Real Auto Dynamics in Ocean City has the tool to reset/diagnose pretty much anything.

I haven't actually done anything with the airbag/connectors itself, but I made the mistake of turning on the car before I plugged the passenger side indicator back in. The reset procedure that's posted here seems to work for everyone but me and one other guy; we both drive 2017s. I can get the airbag light into what I'm assuming is a diag mode, but can't complete the reset. I'm still working at it.

Even with the airbag360 module, you'll still need to solder the resistor for the passenger side as well. Afterwards, you'll either need to have your passenger seat belt plugged in or get a blank seatbelt plug since the module emulates someone being in the seat (...so without the belt plugged in it's as if someone is riding without their seatbelt).

Yesssir I actually know a few of those guys pretty well, little bit out of the way for me but worst case I know they'll come up with some fix if I need it haha.

Damn really? So what's even the point of buying the $70 emulator? Seems like those who have bought it just said it was plug and play and no lights after tossing new seats in. Apparently not the case at all if that's so.

Scratch that, needing the resistor still totally makes sense to me now and the 360 module is just for the weight sensor. Think I was too excited to do the install that I overlook that detail haha :icon14:

Thanks guys!

I installed the emulator without any issue, just follow the reset instruction on youtube sent by the seller. Only problem now is that the seatbelt light is always on unless I buckle in passenger seat belt

You can buy a simple seatbelt alarm stopper for a few dollars. I use it for the passenger seat and when I am on the track and using my harness. Only issue is that you will need to replace not only the airbags but the dash if the fronts are ever deployed.
