Nismo APR front splitter question

2 Attachment(s)
Have question on the front splitter. I'm installing an APR front splitter. I'm trying to figure out on how to get rid of the gap between the splitter and the bumper. I don't know how others have done it. The instruction ain't much help

I don't think that's possible. Flat piece, curved bumper.

Yeah.......I know. Wondering if some has used some type of filler.

I seen others use spacers to offer support in the opening. I would have one if that gap didn't exist, along with you can see the lower bumper alignment tabs with it on. Just my opinion, great in theory, but I think execution could of been better for what they are charging for it.

Are you still running the zspeed undertray with the apr splitter? Looking to order the apr splitter but not sure on the fitment issue and fix if so. I've searched just no luck finding if it's been posted already. Sorry for the thread jack lol

Yea, I still have the undertray. By the looks of things. I'm going to have to trim either the splitter or the tray to get everything to match up. I'm waiting for a couple of things to come in before I go farther.

Think I'll put together a install thread together on it when I'm finished with it.

Just a thought but could you take thin (18-20 ga) aluminum sheet in a vertical orientation attached to the splitter that extends upward to cover the gap?

Yea, I thought of that. Think I going to try a piece of insulation foam cut to shape to fill it in at first to see what it looks like.

When I had mine on I ground the plastic curved lip.

I wish APR made one for the non-Nismo.
