I found an ebay seller in Texas that orders them directly from Nissan Japan.

nismolucino 08-14-2018 09:31 PM

Nice, can you post up a link for the ebay ad?

He doesn't have the controls listed. Originally I was looking for nismo steering wheel controls and had a nismo steering wheel for sale. The picture in his advertisment showed a wheel with controls on it. I contacted him to see if the controls were included but unfortunately they weren't. He told me he could order the controls directly from japan. He emailed me a quote with pictures and I went ahead and ordered them. The transaction went super smooth.

I then contacted him again and asked if he could order the climate controls too. He had a quote and pictures emailed back to me right away so I ordered them too.

You can contact him at "avenuejdm@gmail.com". He is a great guy to work with!

Endgame?

Do you have Nismo-Tech or non-Tech, and what's your endgame in replacing these?

I've got a Sport. The end game is to black out the interior trim, I'm not a fan of the silver. I should clarify. I'm not a fan of the interior silver, I like the exterior silver. :tiphat:

I'm so sick of the silver. Love what you're doing. Might need to hit the guy up. I'm guessing prices are better than dealer but still not cheap.

To save money, I painted the shifter surround, cup holder trim, door vent trim tach/speedo bezels and the 3 gauge bezels. I bought the door handles, climate controls and steering wheel controls. The steering wheel controls were expensive because you have to buy the complete air bag assembly/controls.

It's going to look great when you're done. I also hate the silver.

nizzan4u2nv 08-17-2018 11:05 AM

Im gonna have to do the same. I like the black nismo shifter trim too. Didnt even realize ac controls came black as well.

Steering wheel controls
Door handles
Shifter trim
AC controls
Gauge pod bezels
Gauge cluster bezels
Door vent bezels
Cup holder bezel
Arm rest lid release button

Anything else im missing?

Yep, that's all I can think of too. My car's in the shop so I can't take a look to make sure.

busterbull 08-17-2018 12:19 PM

I agree on the interior silver, this is my next project. Would love to see pics of what you've done so far.

All I've done that's installed are the steering wheel controls, tach/speedo bezels, shifter surround and cup holder trim. I've got climate controls, door handles and vents and triple gauge bezels ready to go in when I get my car back.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that cost? I need to get this on my Z this winter.

busterbull 08-17-2018 12:59 PM

That steering wheel!! That is nice! What paint did you use for the cup holder/shifter cover?

Everything that I'm painting is getting a couple coats of Duplicolor gray scratch filler primer, a few coats of Krylon Supermaxx flat black base, and a few light coats of Krylon matte clear. I first sanded all the silver off with 320 and a final sanding with 600.

Where did you get the cubby that goes into the space for the blank switches?

My Z is silver, I feel the silver interior pieces accent the paint within the interior nicely, except for the fuel gauge.
