Headlights on upon unlock?
 

Most other cars with auto headlights will turn on once the car is unlocked (and it's dark enough to need them), even with the key fob. The Z seems to only turn them on once the car is started.

Was just curious if there's a setting for this. Prob not, but thought I'd check.

I'm not withholding anything - I was never bothered by the way it behaved so I didn't bother to read my OM to find the answer. ;)

I had been blissfully unaware of this until now.

I still marvel at the lights and windscreen wipers turning on/off automatically

OP AFAIK there is NO setting to allow for that type of change, other than the light sensor that will turn the Headlights on in low light IF the control is set to AUTO in the car
