Z34 AMUSE Vestito Body Kit Pictures - Chicane Yellow

I was impressed when Powerhouse AMUSE released some studio pictures of their Z34 “Vestito”. Vestito is an Italian word which translates to dress or suit. And the well dressed white Z34 looked great especially with the perfect lighting inside the photo studio. But I wondered how it might look under the sunlight in real life setting without any dramatic lighting or post processing.

Well no more wondering. Amuse built a yellow Z34 with their latest Vestito kit. They brought the car to the Tsukuba track where they planned to do some shakedown runs. But the track was too wet and testing was held off. They were kind enough to snap some pics so here they are.

The front bumper is sick! I love the integrated carbon fiber trims on each side just like their front bumper design of their Ericsson E92 M3 application. And check out how the bottom surface of the side vents connects to the front lip. My favorite part of this design for sure.

The mouth is big enough for a front mount intercooler too. Well designed considering this car will be blessed with various forced induction offerings.

The side skirts also has some styling cues taken from their Ericsson E92 M3 design. Hey it works there and flows well with the Z34 too. Yum, nice stance!

Looking at the straight on rear shot, I wish that the exhaust were somewhat integrated better with the rear bumper. That’s really my only issue with this kit.

The wing reminds me Veilside Supra wings of the past but I’m not offended by it. Suits the car well I feel. Oh, I see the front end of their S2000 GT1 widebody in the left corner. Probably their best model in my opinion.

Wheel of choice is their recent favorite – BBS LM-R. Looks perfect here.

No need for widebody for this car. The fenders are plenty wide.

Pictured here with their 380RS Superleggera Z33 in the background. I’m not a fan of it. I think the Z34 Vestito is certainly much more appealing in every way, even without the vented hood.

After seeing it in real life setting, overall I think it’s a well designed kit. There are a few areas I would do differently but I think it’s minor so I’m sure this would be much more successful than their 380RS Superleggera Z33 design. The Vestito kit reminds me very much of their Ericsson E92 M3 kit, which is not a bad thing as it shows some family resemblance and singular design language for their brand.

that side piece reminds me of a s2000. :D

yah, it looks okay. the front looks good from low angle but any other angle and the rear and that wing is pretty ugly imho.

I like the fangs too, would have been cool if they incorporated them some how, this one looks like it's too nice, smiling or something. I still like it though.

Does this kit come un-painted?

phelan 12-24-2009 10:56 PM

I totally agree i love the stock fangs, but the angle of the nose and other styling ques are great plus one for no nissan emblem. I would drop the front emblem all together nice and clean, slick my 2cents ..

I dont know about everyone else. But im finding pretty much every full body kit that is out for the 370z...looks really rice. They all look complete ugly and some dont even flow with the car.
