Ikon motorsports: anyone used them?
Ikon motorsports has pre-painted Nismo spoilers for a pretty good price. Just curious if anyone has ever gotten one from them and how good is the quality and install?

I just installed the nismo style spoiler from Ikon about 2 weeks ago. No instructions came with it but its a very easy install, if you need more info on the install i can help you out. Four screws and i put some double sided 3m tape under it just for extra support. Looks great, paint matches perfectly.

I've been curious about this as well. The problem is that my 2016 Nismo spoiler has about 8000 extra holes :shakes head: I really like the pre 2015 Nismo spoilers though.

I have the ikon front lip. No instructions, but it was easy enough to install and looks pretty good. It came slightly bent. I had no issues bending it into shape during installation though.

So you were able to install fairly easily? Cutting? Drilling? Thanks! |

Do you think it will help to fill the gap for 14 sport z bumper and Nismo splitter? See my post here: http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...-splitter.html Thank you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks Clemson! Does it come with 3M tape?

I just purchased the '13 3 piece lip from them (should be here end of this week). The Z is in storage but I'll definitely reply back when I have time to test fit it.

I should have the spoiler by end of month and installed the week after. Will post pics also. Fingers crossed

I have one of their 09-13 lips, and had the same issues with it being bent.. got it mostly straight, but still wasn't enough for tape to stick (my guess is it would eventually stick if I double or triple layered the tape). I did eventually mount it with just the brackets but there were slight gaps.
Also, the included hardware wasn't enough, the rivets were too small and didn't hold it in, I had to get nuts and bolts to hold the bracket to the lip (the self-tapping screws were fine to attach the brackets to the car though). Ended up looking a bit funny having four big gold nuts visible on the front of the car.. I reckon the spoiler would work out better though, it's a bigger piece, and would likely be more sturdy than the lip. |

Also, I picked up a nismo spoiler from the spoiler company on eBay. Prepainted too. Test fit looks great and paint matched perfectly. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e0dda43cec.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...be09e515eb.jpg
