Ings front lip on 2013+
 

Has anyone tried to mock up or fit the ings under spoiler to a face lift base sport? It mounts underneath, similar to the stock chin spoiler which is the same all years.

Don't believe it fits 13+. The shape of the front is a different.

Word. I just wanted to see if anyone had hands on experience. I'm thinking about buying a cheap replica to see how far off the fit is.

Someone already tried, if I remember correctly without positive results. I'l try to find the post.

this guy had a more rough go at it http://www.the370z.com/3674320-post118.html. I did notice he had a base where others who got it to fit successfully had sport models with the holes pre drilled.

For enough money and time anything can be made to fit.

True story. I bought one of the reps since the info on it is pretty mixed. Worse case scenario I will just sell it. If it fits well i will try with an authentic Ings. One thing that bothered me were the lack of photos, so I will try to thoroughly document my attempt.

The paint scheme is throwing me off and although originally designed for the '09 - '12 bumper, it looks like it'll work.

I can go into the list of folks who confirmed it does not fit. It was close, but even with some trimming it will not fit on the the 13+ bumper.

It's really too bad. I really would like something more subtle than what is currently offered for the 13+ model. The search continues...:driving:

I've seen it. I'd want to see one in person or at more angles, but it is high on the list.

I could not find any info on that car.

In the thread I found it in, the person who reached out to him said his bolted on. That was either a lie or there is another mold out there.

I still have my lip on the off chance some one finds a way to make it work.

Man I still want the lower profile lip from them but just outrageous price for a tiny strip of carbon. Really hoping someone will copy or create something similar even if it’s not carbon. Just adds that slight touch to the 2013+ bumper

So after a whole post info 370z page showing many examples of this lol fitting 13+ front I'm not buying this thread...

Found a guy on FB as well. He said that it fit. Check out the photos.

I'd suggest double checking where he got it from.

I don't think anyone would BS saying it fit easily, but we got users showing us here the ways it doesn't work in their experience.

If we know the exact place, probably got a good lead for consistent results unless it's a serious QC thing.

Update on this. There may be a mold for the 2013+ I'm seeing listings for the 2013+ bumper on eBay now
