That's good

Liquid_G 05-05-2011 11:17 AM

wow didn't even know they made these for the Z. I have a set on my Cube and they are holding up awesome.. Fit is perfect and seem to be really well made.

Alstann 02-06-2012 09:26 AM

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but how have these seats been holding up for you guys? Also, do these seats hug as well as the stock cloth seats do?

ShockWave 02-06-2012 09:58 AM

I would also like to know how they are holding up.

The covers arent meant to hug you any better than the cloth seats and the cloth is probably more "clingy" to your clothes.
But for those looking to upgrade the look or protect the cloth seats and act like wet okole seat covers, then this is for you. Its a cheaper way to upgrade other from Nissan.

simota1 02-06-2012 02:31 PM

mines still holding up great =]

Of course. I was curious if they made the seats feel "pepboys cover slippery," if you know what I mean. I like how the cloth bolsters hold me in through the curves, and I would not purchase any cover that removed that buckety feel. I figure these Clazzio seat covers that are molded specifically for those bolsters should be perfect, and retain the hugginess that the stock seats have.

If that's a go, I'm thinking of getting them custom ordered in all red, to go with my PW car. :happydance:

Jordo! 02-06-2012 08:46 PM

I have to say the black w red stitching looks awesome

cossie1600 02-06-2012 09:01 PM

I think they stiffen up the seat on my Prius. Make sure you get the real leather ($299 one), not the full PVC one. I am going to order mine probably next month when my ebay buck comes out.

Liquid_G 02-06-2012 09:10 PM

same here, the ones on our Cube are still awesome. they are full pvc though. Does get a little cold in the winter though.

cossie1600 02-06-2012 09:34 PM

I installed seat heaters under my driver's seat, $70

ShockWave 02-07-2012 09:24 AM

owi1kenobi 07-16-2012 07:55 AM

Ordered mine off ebay for 275 with perforated insert and red double stich cant wait to install it.

NickTurnon 07-16-2012 10:31 PM

owi1kenobi 07-23-2012 08:47 AM

I think these look great and they are on my "to do" list, but I'm curious how they compare to the cloth during extended trips. I actually am very happy with the feel of the cloth, so it would be purely aesthetic, but if these make the seats firmer I wonder if butthurt would kick in sooner.

Actually it makes the seat a bit more softer than a regular cloth. It has the same feel as other leather but is no where close to the one lexus uses. The leather has a thin layer of memory foam so which makes it for a more comfy ride.

I bought this on ebay for $265 incl. shipping which i think is quite reasonable. Now i nead a side door leather insert.

GrandZ45 12-09-2012 07:18 PM

Why do they not sell it for the 2013

I just looked at ordering these for my 2013 coupe and the website indicates it isn't available for that model. Did Nissan change the seat?

homeryansta 12-09-2012 08:22 PM

Just curious. Do this slip right on top of the cloth fabric or do you have to take off the cloth fabric first?

cossie1600 12-09-2012 08:48 PM

goes right on

hm..., I'll have to order a set once my car is out of hibernation.

cossie1600 12-09-2012 09:05 PM

same here, I used two sets on my Prius, loved it

Dixnot 12-09-2012 09:13 PM

lol...

anyone know if these fit over leather seats? i have yellow z with the cream seats and just dont like the color of the seats anymore.

NickTurnon 12-10-2012 09:09 AM

From those that have these on now-

1) Would you be able to cut your own piece of memory foam and stick it under the butt part?

2) Can you order specific colored leather? I wonder... How nice would those dark red leather seats look :)

How did you install the headrest? The opening is so small, I can't put my headrest cover on it.

cossie1600 03-09-2014 07:25 PM

You need lots of muscle, warm up the armrest to get it softer too

cooltoy 03-09-2014 07:32 PM

Do these go saggy with time?

Muldoon 03-09-2014 09:47 PM

The installer's trick with the headrests is to first cover the foam headrest with a plastic bag--the kind you get from the supermarket. That provides enough "slipperyness" to pull the leather covering on with relative ease.

TheRipperZ 06-09-2014 01:23 PM

I would like them in full red would that be possible? If anyone has done this before pics please full red
