Woah, that turn signal actually looks really cool! How much did you pay for all of that together? The black housing was done by them as well correct ?

Everything was done by them. $800.00 for both sides not including the lights. Here's everything that was done.

Please post videos on the car when available.

Write a review as well when you get a chance, would like to know more on peoples' thoughts and opinions on Yunique, they look great! Congrats!

redondoaveb 07-02-2017 04:33 PM

I should have my headlights on Wednesday and should have them installed on Thursday. I'll definitely get a video up and post a review. I can say one thing, Leo (owner) has been great to work with.

Nixin 07-02-2017 06:29 PM

Thats is very cool.

I hope they look as good in person as they do in the pics.

I finally got my car back from getting a bunch of mods done, headlight install being one of them. Here are some pics. These pics don't do the headlights justice as they look so much better in person. They turned out perfect, painting of the shrouds looks smooth as glass, led install is super clean, they appear well sealed. I don't see how they could have come out better. And as I have said before, Leo (owner) has been great to work with, he really does take pride in his work. I will also post up some night pics and a video when I get a chance. Oh yeah, the pic of the amber lighting was mid blink of the turn signal.

Nixin 07-12-2017 03:29 PM

I certainly wish that Nissan Corp. had the isight to do something such as this. I guess electric/hybrid vehicles are draining their brain power.

Thanks. What's really cool is how it's white until you turn on the signal. They make great drl's. I'm uploading another one that shows a front straight front view.

The turn signal is indeed insane. I do understand Nissan can't be bothered to update lighting at this point, but it seemingly takes some years off the car.

I didnt want to go too crazy, mainly I wanted to black out the housings. I was going to do halo's but that's been done to death. I wanted something a little different. It sure would be an easy mod for nissan during production.

Jayhovah 07-12-2017 08:45 PM

That is nuts. I recently got a spare pair of headlights to mod and have been looking for ideas for when I get around to it... I am torn between those sequential strips or halos. I feel like both would be too much.

You can see a lot of examples on yunique led instagram and facebook pages. Yeah, I kind of though both might be too much also but there are some pretty nice one's on his pages.

EZT 07-12-2017 11:46 PM

Fantastic job!

bimbimbop 07-13-2017 12:34 AM

I was wondering about them a little ways back after finding them...your headlights came out nice..do you think they will do a headlight swap after receiving? anyway of letting us know which options you chose directly

Gianni 07-13-2017 01:23 AM

Is that the Audi style led strip? How bright are they during daylight? Pics?

Jayhovah 07-13-2017 09:01 AM

the IG post says the strip is xkglow... but it looks more like an LED strip and on the xkglow site it is covered in a diffusing tube. OP - does it look like a tube or strip? Hard to tell.

I purchased a separate set of headlights and mailed them to Yunique. What do mean by a swap?

redondoaveb 07-13-2017 09:18 AM

It's the led strip and it's really bright, even during the day.

As in they make them and ship them out than i send them my headlights..some people would do it if you pay the price of headlights up front and refund the cost when the headlights arrive back to them

I'm not sure, I know he has loaner tail lights that you can put a deposit on. I'm not sure about headlights though. I would shoot him over an email and see what he could do for you. It sounds what you would like to do though is have him send you a brand new set of headlights and you would send him your used ones.

Thank you Patrick. It was great to be able to work on the lights of the Z and that you are extremely happy. Thank you again for being an awesome customer.

MrYunique - Awesome work! Can you shed some light on those xkglow sequential strips? On the website they look like they are embedded in a diffusing tube... Did you take the tube off? Does the tube come off easily?

OP - those look good; Initially, I was torn between something similar or the "zoomerang". After a bit of research, I went with the zoomerang to try and keep the OEM ish look

Thanks! I had them done by a guy in Atlanta @ Retroworks LLC. had seen some of his work in person and was thoroughly impressed. Can't really see from the picture but the housing was painted satin black.. I think it looks great against the PW.

I could see the painted housing, definitely like the look. I had my housing done in gloss black and the shrouds done in satin black.
