In same situation...

My fenders are on order and I have to source the same. I read somewhere home depot or lowes is a place to start to look for mesh. Home depot has plastic and steel options. I think black plastic would look nice but I have to see it in person.

Post pics when it's fitted and all done.

I know some people have used gutter guard for grills and vents. It's a wire mesh that you're supposed to put over your house gutters to prevent leaves and other stuff from clogging them. It can be found at local hardware stores for relatively cheap.

Sheets can be ordered that you can cut to size.

This one. High diamond count per inch. Fly1 can put one on for you too.

Wish I would have known this a few years ago when I bought mine. How do you guys attach the mesh, I haven't found a good way that looks good and stays in place?

I haven't done it personally (don't have vented fenders....yet), but I've seen some guys be able to work with VHB tape, but the most reliable method I've seen is just traditional epoxy. It may not look the greatest, but I suppose it would be hidden behind the panel anyways.
